In this letter, Osler wrote of his work at Oxford's Bodleian Library (he has become a curator there, as well as an advocate and fundraiser for this and other "general fund" expenses at the university): and of his son Revere's experiences at school in Winchester. The reference to "rocks" is about his recent painful bout with kidney stones.
