Filmed partly in Kenya and partly in India, this motion picture illustrates the development of low cost materials to be used in family planning presentations. In Kenya, the film explains efforts at overcoming cultural traditions in planning for better family living. Beside the benefits of spacing children, the film states that the family planning worker should discuss health, hygiene, and nutrition. Low cost educational materials, such as tracing paper, stencils, flannel graphs, and flip books, among other materials, are shown. In India, the importance of relating family planning to the lives and experience of the audience is emphasized.
