This program is the entertaining and educational story of a childless couple who care for some little nephews and nieces for a weekend. The husband and wife, played by Peg Lynch and Alan Bunce (TVs Ethel and Albert), are faced with a completely new set of situations in which the safety of the children is threatened. They consider their home to be orderly and well-organized, but they have to learn from the children that special precautions have to be taken if serious accidents are to be avoided in the home. This film, then, is basically concerned with the prevention of childhood accidents, which are the largest killer of children between the ages of one and four. Dr. George M. Wheatley, Vice-President of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Dr. Bruce W. Everist, Chairman of the Accident Committee of the Academy, sum up the film with a short discussion.
