A post-mortem specimen of the vascular system of a newborn female infant including the kidneys, ureters, uterus, and adnexa is shown. The various anatomical structures are labeled and pointed to in turn. A rubber-gloved hand holding forceps picks up and shakes the parts of the specimen. When air is pumped into the specimen through a rubber tube, the pulsation of the heart and vessels can be seen, and the uterus and fallopian tubes are inflated.
