Abstract:
(Critical) This module, part of a physical respiratory therapy series, reviews the responsibilities of the respiratory therapist. The physical examination of the chest is demonstrated, including inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation. The quality of breath sound, bilateral air entry, and abnormal breath sounds are discussed. Although the definitions are questionable and the underlying rationale for observing specific areas not provided, the information is clearly and thoroughly presented in an effective format. This program is highly recommended for use.
