Abstract:
(Critical) This program is an overview of methods for conducting a psychiatric interview with a child. Interaction between the child and family, problem identification, confidentiality and potential problem areas are discussed. A rather pedantic 'cookbook' approach to the interview process is outlined. The use of actors is stilted and unconvincing, but the content is clear and comprehensive. This program is recommended for use.
