(Critical) This program presents a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment model for adolescents suffering from illnesses with both physical and psychosocial components. The need for treatment designed specifically for this population is emphasized, and this multidisciplinary approach is compared to the standard, dichotomized approach. The value of psychiatric evaluation and treatment, as opposed to solely psychological testing and counselling for serious psychiatric illness among adolescents, is not acknowledged. The production is a brief, articulate introduction to this subject which is recommended with reservations for use as a trigger to discussion and in-depth follow-up.
