Abstract:
Dr. Alfonso Caramazza of the Department of Cognitive Science and the Mind/Brain Institute at Johns Hopkins University discusses his work with brain-damaged patients, and the evidence that suggests that highly specific categories of linguistic knowledge are stored in different parts of the brain. This is one of four lectures focusing on language and the brain.
