- This black and white postcard urges Flemish youth in Belgium to join the German Red Cross. It shows a German Red Cross nurse with a Waffen SS soldier. The nurse wears a striped shirt or dress with white collar and a white apron and cap. There is a red cross on her cap. The soldier is Julius Geurts, the first Flemish winner of the Iron Cross. He was awarded the Iron Cross in 1942, and was killed in January 1943.
