- In January 1985, NLM's Board of Regents undertook to develop a Long Range Plan to guide the Library in using its human, physical, and financial resources to fulfill its mission. This report is a synthesis and summary of past planning efforts and a statement of where the Library is today, preparatory to updating the Long Range Plan for the next three to five years.
