- Advertisement from an issue of Scope magazine designed by graphic designer Lester Beall. Image at top of page against a gray background is of woman's nose and mouth showing teeth with the text in capital letters of the word Ephedrate; in the center of the page imposed over the top part of a white-shaped speculum is text in black type reading: "eases breathing in allergic rhinitis, bronchial asthma & the common cold." There, are two arrows pointing downward towards three colored circles, arranged horizontally at bottom half of the page.
