Lederberg was one of several scientists who testified in front of the Committee on the goals of the nation's space program on June 10 and 11, 1963. The hearings, which were entitled, "Scientists' Testimony on Space Goals," were eventually printed by the U. S. Government Printing Office later that year and included the testimony of Colin S. Pittendrigh, Harold Urey, and Frederick Seitz.. NOTE: The original is typed on onionskin paper, and as a result the scan is slightly blurry.
