Compendium of the enumeration of the inhabitants and statistics of the United States: as obtained at the Department of State, from the returns of the sixth census, by countries and principal towns, exhibiting the population, wealth, and resources of the country : with tables of apportionment, showing first the number of representatives, as fixed by the Constitution before the first enumeration, and the number prescribed according to the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth census : also, the number of representatives each state will be entitled to according to the sixth census, with the fractions over, commencing at the ratio of fifty-five thousand, and ascending by five hundreds to seventy thousand : to which is added an abstract of each preceding census
