Bock has been most favorably received in Europe; its success being such as to call for a Sixth Edition. It has been translated into several languages, and wherever used has met with approval. It was published for the first time in London last year, and this Edition is reprinted from the English translation. An Atlas of Human Anatomy, of moderate dimensions and corresponding cost, has long been a desideratum in the profession; not only with those who have been engaged in the study of Medicine, but also with such as, in active practice, were called on to perform serious operations at a short notice and desired to refresh their knowledge by appropriate means.
