RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE NATIONAL COMMISSION ON AIDS

The new National Commission on AIDS strongly endorses the
position taken by the Presidential Commission on the HIV Epidemic

in its report of June 1988 recommending the goal of treatme:t on
demand for all drug users who request it.

The Presidential Commission's position is articulated in the

following statement found on page 95 of the report:

" The Commission believes it is imp
