Dear Mr. Potter:
Sometime ago Congressman Fogarty asked me to send to you background material on 
his efforts in behalf of a united Ireland. Since John's interest in the subject 
predated my association with him I asked his former secretary, Dave Doyle, to 
draft a report for you.
Enclosed herewith is a rough draft of Dave's comments on the subject. Should there 
be any further information or material which you would like to have I hope you 
will so advise me.
