Admission of Patients. In order to facilitate the reception of both permanent and day patients, the following directions are given : Patients for day trips only, can apply at the hospital boat, south side of Commercial Wharf, between 8 and 9 o’clock A. M. on day of trip. Permanent patients can apply (1) At the same place and time ; or (2) At 4 P. M. sharp, at Commercial Wharf on return of boat; or (3) Between 5 P. M. and 7 A. M. at the night station of the hospital boat, Pickert’s Wharf, New street, East Boston, near North Ferry. The hospital boat leaves south side of Commercial Wharf at 9 A. M. every week day, weather permitting. The only requisite for admission is a Boston Floating Hospital Admission Card, signed by a regular physician, attesting that the child is sick, is under six years of age, and has no contagious disease.
