I, the undersigned, having served as a probationer in the 
McLean Asylum Training School for Nurses for two 
months, believe that I am able to complete the required two 
years’ course of training; and I hereby agree to do so in 
accordance with the rules and regulations of the School 
and the Asylum. 
[Pupils will be paid twenty-three dollars ($23) a month during the 
first year, and twenty-five dollars ($25) a month during the second year. 
They are required to wear at all times while on duty the Asylum uniform, 
except when excused from so doing. The right is reserved to terminate the 
connection of any nurse or pupil with the School, for any reason which may 
be deemed sufficient.]
