GENERAL ORDERS, No. 58. WAR DEPARTMENT, Adjutant General's Office, Washington, April 7, 1865. Funds accruing from Savings on Flour. I..All surplus funds, exceeding one hundred dollars, accruing from savings on flour and other component parts of the ration, will imme- diately be turned over to the Subsistence Department by commanding officers of companies and other officers having such funds in hand and accountable for them. II..Commanding Officers of Draft Rendezvous will immediately make returns to the Adjutant General of the funds thus turned over, and will hereafter cause to be rendered monthly accounts current of receipts and expenditures, with proper vouchers, of all funds accruing from sutlers' tax and savings on flour and rations.
