Issue of Flour to Hospitals. 
The following order of August 19, 1864, is published for the inform- 
ation and guidance of all concerned: 
The Quartermaster's Department, when fitting up or erecting hos- 
pitals, will construct the ovens. Expenses incurred in repairs to 
hospital bakeries will be paid from the hospital fund. The Subsistence 
Department will issue flour to hospitals upon the usual requisitions 
from Surgeons in charge.
