The States of Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois will constitute a new 
Military Department, (soon to he subdivided into several others,) to 
be called the Department of the Ohio. 
Major General George 13. McClellan, Ohio Volunteers, is assigned 
to its command ; Headquarters at Cincinnati.
