2. Scope.—The following tables prescribe the basic allowances of expendable 
medical supplies not otherwise authorized, and supplement Tables of Equip- 
ment and Tables of Allowances (all arms and services). 
3. General instructions.—The quantities authorized by this circular are 
not periodic allowances, but specify the maximum quantities authorized to be 
on hand in an organization at any time. 
4. Accountability.—All supplies prescribed under these allowances will be 
dropped from accountability when issued to unit supply officers.
