Washington, D.C. July 23, 1956 My dear Dr. Gregg: I have been happy to receive your letter of July 20 with enclosure, and it was indeed most gratifying to be able to send you the telegram earlier today about the House action approving our National Library of Medicine bill. As passed by the House, the bill leaves the location of the National Library of Medicine in the hands of the Board of Regents, and we feel this will be entirely all right. This House action assures final passage of the bill, for I am confident we can get the Senate to accept the House amendment. Again all my thanks for your steadfast assistance, Doctor. I appreciate your kindness in sending me a copy of your talk which was made in Michigan earlier this year. I shall read it with much interest and I am sure much benefit. With kindest personal regards and best wishes, I am Very sincerely, Lister Hill
