Dear Clarabel};

I was delighted to get your letter of October 27th and
to celebrate with you out 20th anniversary. You have lived
a fulfilifeg life and your lovely family must continue to be
a joy to you.

Clarabell, when next you come to Colorado, be sure and
advise me as much in advance as you can so that I can make
plans to have a visit with you. I would like to take you
out to lunch and really have a chance to chat.

I don't know if I ever mentioned it to you, but during
your operation we took some photographs which I later used
when giving talks about open heart surgery. Recently, my
associate, Dr. Paton, came across a copy of this photograph
and if you would everylike to have it I'd be pleased to send
it or give it to you when you come. Not very many people
have a picture of the inside of their own heart.
