Without being able to say what your chance of an internship at the M.G.H. are, I can say that they are tending to take more from away (and that means Hopkins as much as anywhere) almost in preference to Harvard men. As to the Exam -- it is a real examination but of course one wants to be known too.
I should think you would not have any better chance at Presbyterian and I know nothing about Cornell except that it is a very handsome building.
It would be better for you to wait till October to transfer, as the best people will be back from vacation then. I don't think taking surgery here would jeopardize you elsewhere.
