‘Research in Psychotherapy. I am pleased to be able to send these

to you, especially since I had something to do with the first of
this series. I would especially commend to your reading in

Volume I the chapter by John Lacey on psychophysiological approaches.
I believe even now, ten years later, it remains a landmark interpre-
tation of this area.

Turning again to the discussion we had at your house some weeks ago,
I hope to be able to contact you sometime soon to discuss possible
next steps in trying to develop an informal locally based group
concerned with long-range programmatic developments in the behavioral
sciences. This is something I believe both you and Dave Hamburg
would be interested in pursuing.
