Thank you very much for the reference to the foam flotation of cells
and spores, I enclose a reprint of the article in Nature. It seems that
this organic material brought in from the sea may be causing symptons of
asthma in coastal areas of New Zealand, I would be very interested in
any thoughts you might have on the subject especially as I would think
this might also apply to the coastal belt of California,
