Of course we share your concern for the problems of education of
retarded children, but our own effort to contribute to this problem lies in
a@ somewhat different direction, namely, research In molecular medicine under-
lying the etiology of mental retardation. The term ‘education'' might well
be misleading - as you may Infer from the enclosed nétice, we have In mind
primarily the professional and research education of physiclans and
scientists In problems underlying mental retardation.
