Our pericdate paper, per the enclosed carbon copy, has been sent off
to the Proceedings. 1 will keep In mind the 150 reprints that you had
indicated.

{| wonder what you might think about the Ice samples referred to In this
letter from Dartmouth. 1! don't know very much more about this then appears
prima facle; a little plece In the New York Times led me to write them. if
you were willing and able to look Into the microblology of these cores, and
these have evidently been kept frozen from the time of thelr removal, | can
arrange to have them shipped to you at our expense. | haven't looked at
the Crary article In the ‘Arctic’ to which the letter refers. If you think
it advisable, do not hesitate to write them directly for any more detalis
you may wish to know about.

i'm still thinking about the grasshopper glacler question and will be
consulting further with Ehrlich about It. You can expect to hear further
from me on this.
