This ig te confirme that Dr. Jeshua Lederberg has accepted
te act aga our representative according te my letter ef July 20, 1956. He wag

supposed te place orders through your Company and te receive 20 % of the
sale prices.

Please contact Dr. Lederberg directly at the Genetics Department,
University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin, and explain him about his duties
as ropresentative.

I received your letter of September 18 with the information
en the price situatien ef ONPG. I de not know what quality the ONPG of
California Foundation is, at any rate the difference in their prices and ours
is not so large. I will consult my partners ( who still have interest in the
stock ef ONPG you have in hand) te decide shortly on the matter.

This Institute wants to purchase 1 gram of ONPG for teaching
a pest-graduate ceurse in a couple of weeks. Because of the red tape it will
be almost impessible te have a purchasing order in your hands on tine. ‘herefore
if yeu ceuld send the ONPG and bill it later they will be very grateful, I will

be respensible fer the payment in any case. Phe erder has to go to: c/e Dr,
