Dear Josh:

I was very pleased to learn that you are going to be down
here to give a talk around February 16. I hope you will be
amenable to the idea of attending a cocktail party in your
honor the evening of the sixteenth at my apartment. It will
be an opportunity for everybody to get together on a more
informal basis than wheat is possible in the laboratory. If
you could let me know your exact schedule, it would help us very
considerably in making plans for your stay here, since I know
the Giles' would like to have you visit with them, too. Is
Esther planning to come with you? If not, please remember me
to her.
