Thank you very much indeed for your kind letter of February 1.
and your interesting papers, The reason for my Berkeley address is that
I hold a atockefeller fellowship for one yewar, which is almost over now
Ve leave here on February 21, During my stay in tne U.s, I continued my
work on photosynthesis and worked for the last few months in the tadiation
Laboratory in Berkeley.

On mg trip back East I plan to visit Ghicago and madison and would
like very much to meet you. The best day for me would be Monday, Feb. <5
and 4 only hope that this will still be convenient for you.

if for any reason we should not be able to meet now, maybe
you are abefl to extent a trip to Evrove some time to Munich, Sotanical
Institute of the University, Menzingerstrasse 67, where our oermanent
home is, Ve shall be back there from about March <5 on,

Unfortunately there is but one set of reprints of our 1954 papers
in Arch, d. Mikrobiol. left over, 1 shall be glad to let you have if for
some time and will enclose it; perhaps 1 can pick it up on my visit.
