Dear Josh,

Beets says he will write to Kistiakowsky
about the TV show, and he will also talk to Lee
Du Bridge. I think this is a good time to put
pressure on Glennan from all sides. In case you
need further stimulating, let me tell you that
biology was represented on the program by a
Harvard anthropologist--unfortunately I have
forgotten his name--who undertook to tell us
what an intelligent being on another planet
probably looks like. I will spare you his
reasoning, but the end result was a man-like
creature who walked on four legs but also possessed
a pair of hands. The effect washthat of a praying
mantis.
