Dear Josh,

September 24 is possible for me, but the
25th or 26th would be preferable. With the
meeting being held so near the start of the
fall term, I would drive up to Stanford and
bring Joel and his impedimenta. Pearl would
also probably come along in that case. This
means driving up on the 23rd, which is fine
except that I promised Dick Davies I would
attend the Space Colloquium at S.T.L. on the
2end and 23rd. Dick is willing to excuse me
from the second day of the colloquium, but if
you think the 25th is equally feasible, I
would prefer it. for. Whaley 4)

In either case, I would appreciate hearing
the final decision as soon as convenient.

All dates in September are open for me
except Sept. 1-6 and 22-23.
