Dear Josh:

Tr 13 was our clerical error that turned out to be
an E. coli instead of a pseudomonad, if I recall rightly.
It wasn't pigmented.

The best spiral bacterium I know is Rhodospirillum.
I suppose you want to check up on those feelthy pictures in
the J. Gen. Microbiol. by Williams and Rittenberg.
Rhodospirillum might do likewise - it forms lovely spirals in

the dark. f have good cultures. But I never saw microcysts
in any cultures

We're going to do a little more with streptomycin
bleaching of Euglena,

lecture - they admired your aplomb as well as the sense of
your oration,
