Many thanks for sending me the collection

of reprints. Your continuous high productivity is really
amazing.

I spent the day at Oak Ridge yesterday
and feel that I profitted immensely from my visit with the
Neurospora group. I plan to apply for the Researth Participation
Program for this summer. Applicatims for Research Associate
positions for 1957-58 are no ionger being accepted, but I may
apply for the following year if all goes well this summer.

I appreciate your mentioning my name to
Dr. G.W. Keitt as a possibility for his Venturia group.

However, I have declined this offer because of the temporary
nature of the assignment as well as the intention of doing
further Neurospora work as I have just mentioned.
