Bernard Comroe was an inspiring teacher, chief of the Arthritis Clinic at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and author of a classic text on Arthritis, He was also a Phi D E alumnus, and, after his premature death in 1945, it was decided in his memory. to name the annual lecture This is an open lecture to which all interested are invited to attend; this includes the entire student body and faculty of the school of medicine, staff of the Univer- Sity Hospital, and local professional men.
