Dear Vrofessor Lerner,

Enclosed please find a copy of a letter of the
Chairman of the Israel Genetics Society to me and a
copy of my own letter to Professor Boyes, informing him
of the decision of the Committee of this Gociety.

I should like to state that IT am in full
agreenent with the attitude of this Committee to the
choice of Germany as ea meeting place.

For my own pergon, I had decided already at
Montreal that a Congress in Germany could mean nothing
but a painful experience to me, and that I was not
going to attend it. The discussion has reached a point
whete I consider it my duty to inform you of this
decision.
