I read with interest your comments in the current issue of
"THINK" concerning the possibility of discovering enzymes designed
to dissolve specific types of scar tissue without affecting normal
tissues, This idea seemed to me closely related to a theory on aging
concerning the cross-linkage of protein molecules developed by
Dr. Johan Bjorksten of Madison, Wisconsin. I have enclosed reprints

of some of Dr. Bjorksten's articles and would appreciate any comments
you care to make concerning this theory,
