Paul Grobstein 3 Sacramento St Cambridge, Mass. April 13 Dear Dr. Lederberg, I'm sorry I haven't written sooner. I am presently trying to make up my mind about jobs this summer (Dr Wessells has offered me a job working in his lab since I talked to you last). My situation at the end of this semester will be essentially as I described it to you. However, I am unable to take the Engineering Science Dept. course in computers and computer programming. The best I would be able to do would be a five day vocational oriented course in Fortran. In light of this I would appreciate a re-description of the job you have in mind, both in terms of responsibility and of time and money. Paul Grobstein 4/29/65 Paul -- I've talked to Dr. Wessells and think that his job would be your best bet since you were not able to take in the programming course. Good luck J.L. 5/9/65 Thanks, I accept your advice, and appreciate the job offer. P.G.
