I am planning to attend the meeting of the National Academy of
Sciences in Los Angeles the latter part of October and to be in the
San Francisco area around the 4th or 5th of November. I would like
very much to come down to Palo Alto to see you, because there are
several questions pertaining to the colicines I would like to dis-
cuss with you. Will you be there at that time and if so would it be
convenient if I were to drop in for an hour or two of discussion. I
can telephone you from San Francisco to find out what day and hour
would be conveneint for you.
