Just a note to say two things.  (a) I enjoyed the personal part of our visit -- Esther and you make my spirits soar.  (b) Let's think in terms of a ms by next August (give or take whatever time is necessary). I will call it -- until you supply a better handle, "Transduction -- Then and Now."  When you want a publishing contract, say so . . . Stanley Schaefer will drop in to see you some day.
