Dear Josh,
I was glad to get your letter and to hear that you were performing some flu recombinatin [sic] experiments I've had a valuable and stimulating trip so far; and have now got the Harvey[?] Lecture off my mind (last Thursday).
A few days ago I had a letter from David[?] Walker, and arrangements are in hand for my visit to Wisconsin -- which will be on Wed Thurs 20-21 Nov.  Sorry that you and Esther won't be there, for I'd very much like to get your view on animal virus genetics after your exposure at the Hall Institute.
Thanks for your suggestions about people to see in Madison; I'll try to see all of these folks.
