Symposium. The arrangements have been made in collaboration with’
Syd Rubbo and I understand that he will probably drive up to
Canberra with you and thus give you an opportunity to see some-
thing of the Australian countryside.

. IT had thought seriously of Dr. Mathieson -
Mayo in Adelaide, but I thought that bacterial and viral genetiés
was a pretty wide field for one day and decided therefore to
confine the scope of the papers strictly. Dr. Mayo will certainly
be in Canberra at the time and may well be giving a paper at the
Genetics Conference which follows on Tuesday and Wednesday.
