I should like you to know that after ten years
as Chief of the Division of Plant Industry, I am about
to relinquish this post and join the Executive of CSIRO,

My personal scientific work and my association
with the genetics group in Canberra will continue as
before. I am retaining my small group of personal
associates, with whom I expect to conclude within the
next two years a series of papers on the genetics and
evolution of flower morphogenesis in Triticum.

I therefore hope that you will continue sending
me reprints which, as previously, will be available to
the whole genetics group; and that our friendly contacts
in other ways will remain. While my office will change
+o Melbourne, my laboratory remains in Canberra, so that
the address for reprints and correspondence remains
unchanged.
