Dear Joshua,

I am sorry that the enclosed letter was
opened by mistake.

This is a short note to tell you that I am
just back to work after a couple of weeks of
retirement, forced on me by chicken pox. I
wonder if you have by now made a prograime for your
trip to Europe, and, if so, will you please let
me know about it.

I hope that everthing is well with you and
Esther, and that Peter Sneath had no trouble in
having my car registered in his name.
