Dear Dr. Rernstein:

As requested by Dre Lederberg I am writing you
in regard to your culture SW 1104 (CDC Noe 2308-54).
The culture gave a slight trace of agglutination in
somatic 1 serum. It probably is a 1,9,12 type which is
in the 1 + form. So far as phase 2 is concerned your
conjecture was correct. This phase should have been
denoted €,N,Z1,, Zig» not e,n,x- J am sorry that these
errors in reporting occurred.
