A small conference of interested bacterial geneticists will be held
at Cold Spring Harbor on June 11 and 12th, during the Symposium (June 7-13),
The purpose of the meeting will be to go over the draft of the "Proposal
for a uniform nomenclature in bacterial genetics" and to prepare it for
publication, The organizers of the conference (Adelberg, Hartman and
myself) would like you or a person from your group designated by you to
attend, Funds are available for traven expenses (tourist class jet, and
$12.- per diem during the period of conference).

The title of this years Symposium is “Synthesis and structure of
macromolecules", It will include topics of interest to microbial geneticists;
Anumber of them from U.S. and abroad will be present, and thus available
for our conference,
