Dear Josh:
I have just returned to find your communication of September 4th
and also to hear the news on this morning's broadcast. I wonder
how seriously to take the remark "the 835“payload had been sterilized."
Perhaps the most encouraging thing is that they took the trouble to
mention this fact gives hope for the future.

Saturday the 26th seems suitable and I have communicated it to Harold
Weaver. Your suggestion for reproducing the report of Panel 2 sounds
to me perfectly satisfactory and I will communicate this to the Council
itself. You may see Otto Schmitt before that time but I can't imagine
that there would be any reason for not doing it.

I am looking forward to seeing you in your new quarters.
