Dear Josh,

I have talked to Lois Larkin about your offer and
she is very keen to go if itis at all possible. I shall miss her
considerably but I hope she will come back eventually.

: I am off immediately on a short trip to Geneva so
I will do no more than just indicate that I am in full accord with
her decision. I shall probably leave it to Gus and Lois to look
into the ways and means of getting her to America and they will .
contact you when help at your end is needed.

We were all delighted to hear about the Nobel
award and are basking in a very small fraction of reflected

glory.
